High Performance Computing Innovation Center

OVERVIEW

The High Performance Computing Innovation Center (HPCIC) sits on Lawrence Livermore National Lab’s open campus and was founded to act as a business development and consulting entity for LLNL’s high performance computing expertise. A large part of my role involved translating these capabilities into language that would resonate with an external audience. I worked with HPCIC leadership and subject matter experts to identify outreach opportunities and created content to support them.

WEBSITE

One of my biggest projects was a complete overhaul of the website. My goal was a site that had a more sophisticated look and feel and was more responsive than its predecessor. I also added a more robust email sign-up form and analytics code.

COLLATERAL

A large part of my role involved working with scientists and staff across the Lab to create a wide range of digital and print content. Ranging from one-sheets to landing pages to social media graphics, my goal was showcase the wide range of incredible research that is happening at LLNL.

EVENTS

Another part of my job involved coordinating the HPCIC’s presence at tradeshows and events. It was a tricky balance to showcase the HPCIC brand while highlighting the research being done at LLNL. I would work to create a booth presence that would provide a cohesive look and feel – customizing banners and creating a video slideshow to be displayed at the booth.
