OVERVIEW
With any kind of consultancy or subject matter expert the most important thing is that the brand conveys a sense of confidence and tells the audience that they can trust this person/company to advise them. The project actually started with the book covers as the client grew her business. We focused on clean photography and type to help them stand-out in the marketplace and give a feeling of calm competence. As we developed the logo, I wanted something that would have the feeling of a stamp of approval, but also still read food. The shape of the logo and the typography were inspired by French bistros signage. We selected the chocolate brown because it’s rich and distinctive, but still a little unusual.
