Branding redesign

Client: OCS, Inc.

The executive team decided to split OCS into two brands: OCS, Inc. and OCS HomeCare. For the corporate brand, we wanted something that reflected the company’s industry leading status and elevated the look and feel to be more elegant and refined. One of my primary complaints of the original logo is the way the bars are used. Depending on the chart it gives the impression of erratic or even negative outcomes. Not good. So, I kept the bars but used them to signify success. They also reinforced the new tagline of “Elevating Healthcare Intelligence.” I also simplified the palette and used a more streamlined typeface. The result is a more focused and modern interpretation.
