OCS, INC. ADDS TECHNOLOGY EXECUTIVE TO ITS LEADERSHIP TEAM
Seattle, WA (January 27, 2009) – OCS, Inc. (OCS) today announces a key addition to its leadership team. David Weld has joined the OCS team as Executive Vice President. Among other things, David will lead OCS' initiatives around expanding its product platform and introducing a series of next generation products.
David has held senior executive and management roles in both public and private technology and business intelligence (BI) companies over his twenty five year career. Most recently, he served as the CEO of PivotLink, Inc.—a leading BI provider. Prior to PivotLink, David was involved with a number of successful early-stage startups including three as CEO. He spent five years at Microsoft as a group manager and director, where he shipped the first two versions of Windows NT, the first two versions of MSN, and helped create Slate, the pioneering online magazine. David has an A.B. in computer science and Russian from Dartmouth College and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.
