Amanda Twiss, President and CEO

Acknowledged as an authority in the field of healthcare data intelligence, Amanda Twiss is the President and CEO of OCS, and its newly founded subsidiary, Dentra. She brings more than 20 years of experience in healthcare information and outcomes analysis, and is a leading voice in the areas of statistical outcomes, provider profiling, and benchmarking. Her extensive knowledge, deep understanding, and public speaking persona have resulted in numerous national speaking engagements and appearances. She is also a published author of industry articles and whitepapers on healthcare information topics and a contributing author to several textbooks.


Prior to OCS, Amanda was a founder of HBSI (subsequently Solucient) and an entrepreneurial pioneer in hospital informatics and physician profiling.


Amanda is an Advisory Board member for The Entrepreneurship Center of the Albers School of Business and Economics at Seattle University. She is also a founding member of the Data Advisory Committee for the National Association of Homecare.


Lance Pilichowski, CFO

Lance Pilichowski is one of two original founders of OCS, along with Amanda Twiss. Lance oversees all financial aspects of the company and leads OCS’s technology and corporate infrastructure development.


Before launching OCS, Lance served as the Senior Vice President of Development at HBSI, which is now Solucient, for seven years. In this role, he led HBSI’s software development efforts, MIS, technical support, and research and development departments. Prior to joining HBSI, Lance was a consultant with Wolfe and Associates, focused on successful implementation of hospital billing and MIS systems. He also worked with Bennett and Associates, implementing the first statewide hospital data warehouse in the country.


David Weld, Executive Vice President

David delivers a wealth of knowledge and expertise in software, data analytics, and business development. His OCS responsibilities include corporate development, technology and platforms, and products. He also contributes to joint venture management, business development, and sales. David is a member of the Dentra board of directors.


David has held executive and senior management roles in technology and business intelligence companies for more than 25 years. He served as the CEO of PivotLink, Inc., a leading Software-as-a-Service business intelligence provider. David also has been involved with several successful early-stage startups, including three as CEO. He spent five years at Microsoft as a group manager and director, where he shipped the first two versions of Windows NT, the first two versions of MSN, and helped launch Slate, the pioneering online magazine, which David named.


David has an A.B. in computer science and Russian from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Tuck School at Dartmouth College.


Christine Lang, Vice President of HomeCare

Christine Lang is the Senior Director of Data and Product Strategy for OCS HomeCare. Christy leads product development, data analysis, and consulting efforts. Christy’s path to her current role at OCS involved work in product design, data consulting, training, and account management.


Christy is an expert on healthcare data, including the analysis of quality outcomes, pay-for-performance, regulatory trends, business strategies, financial performance, best practices, and payment programs.


Christy has been a presenter at international, national, and regional conferences. She is an author and contributor to numerous industry publication articles, peer-review journal articles, and white papers on subjects such as predictive modeling, pay-for-performance, business intelligence, and the cost-quality management focus. Christy has an MBA from the University of Washington Executive Management program.


Mary Oakes, Sr. Vice President of Sales & Business Strategy

Mary Oakes brings more than 20 years of experience in sales and marketing management, business development, and healthcare to OCS. In her current role, Mary is responsible for leading the sales efforts as well as the development and management of strategic business partnerships.


Prior to joining OCS, Mary spent 18 years at IBM in a variety of sales management, marketing, and business development roles, most recently as the Director of Sales and Business Development for the Biotech Industry Americas. Mary has a degree in Economics from Stanford University with additional studies in the areas of Business Process Re-engineering and Financial Management.


Troy Pladson, Vice President of Market Development

Troy Pladson has more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing, consulting, strategy, and business development for technology companies. His responsibilities at OCS include identifying and driving entry into new markets.


Prior to joining OCS, he was Vice President of Sales, Marketing, and Business Development for InterSAN, Inc., and was responsible for its sale to Finisar. Before joining InterSAN, he was Vice President of Business Development and Sales Operations for SupportSoft, Inc. Prior to SupportSoft, Troy spent several years at IBM where his last position was Director of Strategy, Marketing, and Business Development at IBM/Tivoli's Storage Management Business Unit.


Jeff Gilbert, Vice President of Healthcare Analytics

With over 22 years of experience in the design, development, and implementation of complex data management and reporting systems in both financial and healthcare organizations, Jeff brings a unique combination of skills, knowledge, and expertise to his role in managing the consulting services team at OCS. His healthcare analytics work has included economic analysis, decision support modeling, and the development of custom data collection tools to gather clinical, process, and financial outcome measures.


Prior to joining OCS, Jeff was the Director of IT at Penn Nursing Network, a group of community-based clinical practices owned by the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing. Jeff holds a BA in finance from the University of Colorado and a MS in Medical Informatics from Oregon Health & Science University.


Jeffrey Brown, Director of Production & Quality Assurance

Jeff has held executive and management roles in both private and public companies during his more than 25-year career. His primary career focus has been on quality of products and services, and the same holds true for his current role at OCS.


Previously, Jeff spent nine years at Microsoft as a test lead and manager in various groups. He was involved with the first two shipments of Windows NT and Microsoft Network (MSN). This was in addition to a number of early-stage startups where he was responsible for building quality and best practices into company-wide business processes. Jeff has managed day-to-day operations of several departments and companies, which include production, technical support, hosting, customer service, IT, QA, and facilities. What’s more, Jeff has supervised planning and implementation of data centers and hosting services running in 24/7 high-availability environments.


Nancy Buller, Sr. Director of Marketing Communications

Nancy Buller has been serving the healthcare industry as a marketing professional for more than seven years. Her OCS responsibilities include brand and creative management, public relations, art direction, and communications strategy. Prior to joining OCS, she was a strategic asset to a financial investment division of Wells Fargo, Ragen-Mackenzie.


Nancy connects with the greater Puget Sound community by making an impact through volunteerism. She is the current treasurer for the Junior League of Seattle, a mentor for UW University of Washington (UW) Career Connections, and was a former board member for the UW Alumni Association Marketing, Membership, and Communications Committee.
